Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston may have parted ways years ago, but the pair is still making headlines as their old Beverly Hills mansion returns to the market for US$44.5 million (NZ$67.6 million).

The gated property, which the stars owned from 2001 to 2006, was sold to a hedge fund executive before being handed over to real estate agency Hilton & Hyland.

The French Normandy Revival-style estate features four bedrooms, a swimming pool, a tennis court and a dining room that seats up to 20. Built in 1934, Pitt and Aniston added their touch to the mansion with a three-year renovation process to upgrade the kitchen floor with heated marble and install a guest house and a private screening room as well as a bar with flooring from a 200-year-old French chateau.
