Erin Molan has addressed an alleged feud with Andrew Johns in a new interview, praising the NRL legend after months of nasty rumours.

According to  The Sunday Telegraph, Johns had allegedly walked out of his role on Friday night football because of an “awkward” falling out with Molan.

Johns started the 2019 season on Friday night footy alongside Molan, but then vanished halfway through the year.

He was then replaced by Billy Slater, which according to Channel Nine was Johns’ decision to allow Slater more air time.

But the  Telegraph  reported that Johns refused to work with Molan.

In October, Molan broke down as she revealed the ugly backlash she received from fans due to the rumours.

And now she’s putting the feud the bed, as she praised Johns in a new interview.

“Andrew Johns is an immortal and he sees things in our game that no-one else can see,”  Molan told  Stellar  magazine, available in this weekend’s  Sunday Telegraph.

“I have so much respect for him, as I do all the guys I work alongside.”

Molan has been consistently targeted by NRL fans ever since she replaced Paul ‘Fatty’ Vautin on the  Footy Show, which was subsequently axed.

Many fans blame Molan for the show’s downfall, and it’s been said that Johns fuelled the hate train.

But Molan says she’s learned to ignore it.

“The trolling used to upset me, but now I don’t give a tinker’s cuss,” she told  Stellar.
