Jennifer Aniston’s Instagram account has broken the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s world record for obtaining the most amount of followers in the shortest time.
The 50-year-old, best known for her role of Rachel in Friends, joined Instagram on Tuesday this week and managed to quickly break the internet.
Her first photo was an image of herself and her five Friends co-stars including close friends Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow.
The post alone has reached over 12 million likes since the time of posting and has broken Harry and Meghan’s record for gaining followers.
The famous couple gained a million followers in six hours after they launched their joint Instagram account @SussexRoyal, in April this year.
But Jennifer surpassed that feat, gaining the same amount of followers in under five hours and 16 minutes. With the record announced by the Guiness World Records yesterday evening.
