After years of dodging questions about his love life, beloved Aussie vet and TV host Dr Chris Brown is officially off the market – and fans are thrilled.
The former Bondi Vet star is dating glamorous Brisbane-based publicist Lorraine Monforte, a well-known Channel 10 media manager who recently wrapped up 13 impressive years with the network.
While the couple has kept their romance under wraps, eagle-eyed followers noticed the pair sharing separate photos from a winter getaway to Finland earlier this year, a chilly clue that love was in the air.
Brown, 46, and Monforte, 41, both worked at Network 10 until mid-2023, when Brown made the leap to Channel 7. Known for keeping his private life private, the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star hasn’t posted anything publicly about Monforte, but friends say the two have quietly been enjoying each other’s company for several months.
Monforte, a mother of two and respected figure in television publicity, has kept her Instagram private. But her heartfelt farewell post to Channel 10 last week sparked a wave of supportive messages from colleagues and TV personalities.
“You were always such a dream to work with darling heart!” wrote Bachelorette alum Angie Kent, while TV chef Miguel Maestre quipped, “You lasted longer than The Living Room, Monforte. This is just a turn of the page for your life story.”
And what a new chapter it may be. Brown has previously spoken about his hopes of one day starting a family, telling Stellar last year, “I would still like to have kids – I still feel that’s very much a priority.”
Here’s hoping this is the start of something wonderful, and maybe even a furry friend or two along the way.
