Princess Beatrice has made the decision to cancel her engagement party in London over the backlash surrounding her dad, Prince Andrew.
According to The Sun, the 31-year-old and her fiancé Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi had sent out invites for a party held at Chiltern Firehouse on December 18.
The Mail on Sunday said: “Bea has had to change the date of her engagement party at the Chiltern Firehouse because of fears there will be too many photographers outside – looking for him.
“But the venue choice caused alarm among pals concerned it was far too high-profile given the sensitive time her family is going through.”
The publication says the pair decided on the date change so that “Andrew can sneak in under the radar.”
Beatrice and Edo announced their engagement earlier this year but are yet to formally announce details for the wedding as they have been instructed to not reveal the date until after the general election.
They have confirmed they will tie the knot sometime next year.
