The royals have come out to attend one of the most highly anticipated events on British social calendar, the Royal Ascot.
The Duchess of Cambridge has once again stolen the spotlight as she and Prince William joined Queen Elizabeth II for the opening day of the annual high-society horse race.
Duchess Kate wore a cornflower blue dress with sheer sleeves by Elie Saab and complemented it with a matching Philip Treacy hat and Kiki McDonough drop earrings, while her husband sported a three-piece suit with a printed purple tie, a boutonnière and a black top hat.
Several other of the royal women also donned blue, including the Queen, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie and Zara Tindall. The Queen, who wore a blue coat and flower hat by Angela Kelly, rode in the leading carriage during the Royal Procession that traditionally heralds the start of the race.
